Bayswater Apartments
The project involved refurbishing an old hospital building to create Bayswater apartments.
This included recladding the exterior with a new polystyrene system, re-roofing, and replacing all aluminium joinery. Internally, the building was completely demolished and redesigned. New services, such as a residential sprinkler fire system, were installed throughout. A total of 32 apartments, ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms, were constructed with high-spec fully tiled bathrooms and an internal vacuum system. The upper-level outdoor deck was transformed into a heated lounge area with bar facilities and an adjacent library day room. A commercial-style kitchen, communal dining area, management offices, and a gym and dance studio were also added on the ground floor.
