Rangitoto College

The Rangitoto College Administration and Auditorium Block underwent a re-cladding and refurbishment project, which was divided into four main stages. Each stage involved the removal of the existing cladding, safe disposal, and inspection of damaged timber. Remediation and installation of a new roof were necessary for each stage. To minimise disruption to the school, the project was completed one stage at a time. Stage 1 focused on the auditorium, Stage 2 involved the gymnasium, Stage 3 encompassed the staff rooms and administration block, and Stage 4 included the music rooms. In addition to the exterior work, minor interior improvements were made, such as installing new floor coverings, acoustic ceilings, painting, and new wall coverings.
