Torpedo Bay Loaded Minestore

Restoration and refurbishment of a heritage building located at Navy Museum at Torpedo Bay, Devonport, Auckland. 

The primary objective of the project was structural strengthening of the Minestores and entailed reinforcing the roof slabs and walls to improve the overall structural stability. Legacy took great care to ensure the preservation of the heritage of the mine store and worked closely with experts, including archaeologists. This required meticulous attention to detail and adherence to preservation guidelines throughout the restoration process.
