Countdown’s first new format Metro store in the heart of Auckland’s central city, designed with busy CBD customers in mind. The new Metro store is only 600m2 in size and offers customers a barista on site, a range of quick and easy shop options and an extensive range of café style food to go choices for meals.

The project consisted of the demolition and fit out of an existing tenancy at the Arcade Level of AMP Tower located at the junction of Lower Albert Street and Customs Street West in Auckland. The site was located on the bottom floor of the 20-story tower which remain occupied thereby placing noise restrictions in place during business hours.

On completion, Legacy successfully oversaw works to Metro Halsey St and Pt Chevalier.
